We always use almonds that are sprouted to make sure our customers receive the maximum nutritional benefit when they eat our snacks. Palmonds are never roasted, but slowly dehydrated at low temperatures to ensure the nutritional benefit of the almond stays intact but still delivers a delicious crunch.
Our almonds are tossed in fermented coconut tree sap, or Coconut Aminos, which is a vitamin-rich liquid seasoning packed with essential amino acids. Palmonds are flavored with real ingredients and have no extra added oils or fats. Why add extra unnecessary calories and fat to something that is already packed full with the healthy fats our bodies need to thrive?

Un-sprouted raw almonds contain phytic acid, a naturally occurring chemical compound found in plant seeds that helps protect the almond prior to germination. However, it also inhibits the body's ability to absorb stored nutrients in almond. Sprouting degrades the phytic acid, therefore releasing this protective compound. Performing this process prior to consumption allows our bodies to fully absorb all nutrients the almond has to offer.
Coconut aminos are a delicious, gluten-free, soy-free, vegan liquid seasoning used mainly as a substitute for soy sauce. It is made by fermenting the sap of a coconut palm tree. This special condiment contains 17 of the 20 amino acids essential to proper body growth and function. The salt content in coconut aminos is lower than that of soy sauce, making it a sweeter, more savory low sodium alternative.
Coconut palm sugar is an unrefined, more nutrient dense choice for sweetening who's brown crystals are formed by dehydrating coconut tree sap. It contains minerals, antioxidants, and amino acids, much like coconut aminos do. Sugar extracted from coconut tree sap has a lower glycemic index compared to tradition table sugar, making it a better alternative to other refined sugars.
